This article is part of a dissertation that analyzed contributions from the digital Tower of Hanoi on touch screen mobile devices in remote classes during the covid-19 pandemic period. The pedagogical intervention took place in the Teaching Practice course of prospective mathematics teachers at UFRRJ, taught by the co-author of the article. Seven synchronous meetings were implemented on the Google Meet platform and a class group was created on Facebook for asynchronous interactions. Data were produced through records for activities, researcher diaries, generation and sharing of videos generated by subjects, online questionnaire, and record of synchronous and asynchronous interactions. It was possible to verify that the use of the digital Tower of Hanoi in the design of the discipline and in the interactive dynamics was powerful. Particularly, the prospective mathematics teachers were able to collaboratively build knowledge throughout the experience and the researchers were able to follow the learning of the participants with the use of technologies and different didactic strategies. An innovative aspect of the research is the use of screen recording apps.
