Resumen

The paper presents the development and analysis of a workshop to collect data for a doctoral thesis, with the aim of developing the historical part of Peano’s Curve, constructing the curve using GeoGebra and exploring its geometric relationships. In addition, it explored the inclusion of Fractal Geometry in Mathematics degree courses at the Instituto Federal Farroupilha, using Digital Technologies (DT). The study was based on Raymond Duval’s Semiotic Representation Registers (SRR), with a qualitative methodology and 12 academics as subjects. Activities with DTs were used to collect data, which was analyzed qualitatively in terms of the resolution procedures and transformations of the SRRs. The analysis indicated learning, suggesting further exploration of the GeoGebra spreadsheet in future workshops. It is hoped that the students will be able to apply the knowledge acquired in their educational practices in Basic Education.
