The purpose of this research is to show a contrast and a possible generalization of the ways of thinking in Linear Algebra of Anna Sierpinska (2000) in relation to Vector Thinking and its characterization rubrics, which were introduced as a theoretical contribution to the doctoral thesis of the author of this research. A set of activities with challenging and non-routine problems was proposed to engineering students from the Antonio Nariño University, where it was possible to demonstrate a special type of mathematical thinking that allowed strengthening the ways of thinking in Linear Algebra and favored the construction of meaning of the concepts from the Multivariate Calculus and Linear Algebra course.
