METHANALYSIS OF THE MACRO-PROJECT “EDUCATION TEACHERS IN MATHEMATICAL MODELING: UNDERSTANDING AND UNVEILINGS”

Since 2012, we began to dedicate ourselves gradually and systematically to research and guidance on teacher education in Mathematical Modeling in Mathematics Education, culminating in 2014 in the phenomenological research macroproject that asks: what is this, teacher training in Mathematical Modeling? completing in 2023. Along with this, we conceived, set up, and supported, since 2015, a permanent extension project for teacher education in different cities in the State of Paraná, Brazil, investing in the constitution of teacher education collectives, dialoguing with Fleckian epistemology. Master’s dissertation and theses PhD thesis and other texts with different research questions were produced within this macro project. This production was retaken up in a qualitative phenomenological meta-analysis, to understanding for the interrogated. Therefore, we expose a meta-understanding of the “this” of teacher education in Mathematical Modeling. In summary, even if teacher education will favor by the established collectives, it is necessary to understand more clearly the meaning of the formation of the human person, beyond the theoretical and practical aims of Modeling or Teacher education.
