This article aims to present the carrying out of mathematical modeling activities based on mathematical practices and methodologically guided by the Actor-Network Theory. The specific objectives are to adapt the principles of the Actor-Network Theory to the principles of Mathematical Modeling to outline the aforementioned configuration, and to describe mathematical practices based on the practice of flour production in a flour house in the light of the Actor-Network Theory as a test for that perspective. For the adequacy of Mathematical Modeling to the Actor-Network Theory; we carried out a bibliographic research, involving some of the most significant authors of Mathematical Modeling and Actor-Network Theory. The process of arriving at the mathematical model from mathematical practices can be guided by the following steps: performed practice, sociomaterial description, problem elaboration, mathematical figuration, model configuration and immutable movable.
