Abstract

This present work aims to present fashion law and intellectual property legislation regarding brand protection. In the first chapter, it was discussed how fashion and the law intersect, with the goal of later becoming a legal marketing area known as “Fashion Law.” Additionally, examples of plagiarism and brand protection cases were also discussed. The second chapter primarily elucidates the history of legislation up to the present day. Furthermore, it compared acts of plagiarism to dividing, copying, and taking inspiration, with a focus on prominent national and international cases, gathering legal precedents related to these cases.
