The Economics Course at Franciscan University began its activities in March 2003 and, over two decades, has trained economists with methodological pluralism, in addition to promoting an education based on ethics and a commitment to social responsibility. This experience report describes the trajectory of the course, from its initial conception to the present day. To achieve this goal, this work is configured as qualitative and documentary research. Among the main aspects addressed are the objectives of the course, the profile of the graduates, the curricular structure and the contribution to the training of economists. The study also highlights the activities developed in an integrated manner with the Administration and Accounting courses, such as the Integrated Business Forum, the Business Fair, student reception, technical trips, extension activities, and research and extension projects.
