Abstract

This work analyzes changes related to the area of human resources (HR) management driven by technology, highlighting the incorporation of Information and Communication Technology in organizational processes. Qualitative, bibliographic and descriptive research explored changes in people management practices due to the impact of the internet and digital technologies. The results show that technology democratizes access to information, decentralizes operations and increases the autonomy of managers and employees. However, resistance to technological changes, the need for new skills and the management of power and control dynamics are aspects that still need to be further explored. It is therefore possible to identify that technological evolution in HR management requires a balanced and strategic approach to face contemporary challenges and fully benefit from the benefits of the technological revolution.
