Undergraduate degree in business Administration at Franciscan University: historical trajectory and challenges

Administration is present in all organizations, with the goal of driving organizational growth and contributing to social well-being. This experience report aims to describe the historical trajectory of the Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration at Franciscan University, since its creation in 1998. Course indicators, as well as teaching, research, and extension projects, are presented. Over its 25 years, the program has graduated more than a thousand administrators, with a constantly updated curriculum aligned with the challenges of the labor market, reflecting the university’s commitment to the holistic education of its students. The text highlights academic activities such as events, lectures, technical visits, and internationalization initiatives, in addition to relevant projects like the Administrative Practices Laboratory and the Young Entrepreneurs Project.
