Abstract

The profile of investors in the financial market in 2023/2024 reflects transformations driven by macroeconomic factors, technological advances and changes in consumer behavior. This research sought to describe the differences in investor behavior between the first quarter of 2023 and 2024, with the objectives of identifying the most used types of investments, the main changes in the market and the factors that influence this behavior. The methodology was based on secondary data obtained from B3’s Book Pessoa Física reporting platform published in 2024. The results, based on secondary data, showed greater diversification of portfolios and inclusion of new profiles, especially young people, interested in products such as ETFs and funds real estate. The study also highlighted the importance of understanding market trends and dynamics to optimize investment strategies and foster an inclusive and innovative financial environment. As noted, there was a considerable increase in investors in the financial market, but with smaller contributions compared to previous years.
