Aplicação de nanotubos de carbono em concreto: uma revisão técnica

Resumen

A incorporação de nanotubos de carbono no concreto tem surgido como um avanço promissor na engenharia civil, oferecendo melhorias significativas nas propriedades mecânicas e na durabilidade dos materiais produzidos. Para aproveitar ao máximo o potencial desse campo revolucionário, é essencial entender o papel de cada uma de suas partes constituintes, os processos de produção, bem como manter-se atualizado sobre as principais inovações do setor, objetivos dessa revisão. Para tanto, foi realizada uma abordagem exploratória, com pesquisa bibliográfica em plataformas como Scopus, Web of Science e Science Direct, abrangendo publicações até 2025. A pesquisa incluiu 654 documentos, dos quais 56 foram selecionados após a aplicação de critérios de exclusão. Os resultados destacam a eficácia dos nanotubos na melhoria das propriedades mecânicas do concreto e a importância de uma boa metodologia para superar obstáculos tais como a dispersão adequada dos materiais. Notavelmente, seu uso em vários campos da engenharia civil está evoluindo rapidamente, particularmente com o advento de novas ferramentas computacionais, resultando em novos processos de produção e novos materiais.

Fábio Santos da Rocha Loures, Universidade Franciscana - UFN

Aviator Colonel of the Air Force Reserve, PhD student in nanosciences at the Franciscan University (UFN). Has a degree in Aeronautical Sciences from the Air Force Academy (AFA), in 1990, and in Aeronautical Infrastructure Engineering, currently Civil-Aeronautical, from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA), in 2002; MBA in Advanced Executive Development, in the area of Process Management, from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), in 2008; and a Master's degree in Nanosciences from the Franciscan University (UFN), in 2022. He has Advanced Studies Courses in Military Sciences from the Aeronautical Command and General Staff School (ECEMAR), in 2008, and from the École de Guerre (EG - 19ª Promotion) from the École Militaire de Paris-France, where, in 2011/2012, he took the Interforces of Defense (CID) and Higher Military Studies Courses, obtaining the title of "Defense Expert in Management, Command and Strategy".

Adriano Vasconcellos Sichonany, Universidade Franciscana - UFN

Graduated in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM-1999). Works as a Physical-Chemical Analysis Laboratory Technician and currently pursuing a master's degree in nanosciences at the Franciscan University-UFN.

Sérgio Roberto Mortari, Universidade Franciscana - UFN

Has a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1993), a degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1996), a master's degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1996), supervised by Ayrton Figueiredo Martins and a Ph.D. in Sciences (Analytical Chemistry) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2001), supervised by Norbert Fritz Miekeley. He is currently an adjunct professor IV at the Franciscan University -UFN. He has experience in the area of Chemistry, with an emphasis on Trace Analysis and Environmental Chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: atomic spectrometry, mass spectrometry, carbon nanomaterials. During his postgraduate studies, he coordinated the PPG in Nanosciences, in 2018 and 2019. He works as a researcher in the Postgraduate courses in Nanosciences (line of development and characterization of bioactive and nanostructured systems), with a view to production, purification, characterization and application of nanomaterials).

Márcio Felipe Floss, Universidade Franciscana - UFN

PhD in Civil Engineering from UFRGS and professor at the Franciscana University, in Santa Maria/RS. where he also coordinates the Civil Engineering course. With more than 15 years of experience, they are specialists in geotechnics and environmental geotechnics, standing out in the application of nanomaterials in solutions for strengthening and improving soils. His research also covers the use of geosynthetics, cemented soils and remediation of contaminated soils, with a focus on sustainable innovations. Author of publications in high-impact international journals, as well as master's and doctorate advisor.

William Leonardo da Silva, Universidade Franciscana - UFN

Has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2010), a master's degree (2012) and a doctorate (2016) in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He developed research as a sandwich doctoral student abroad (PDSE/CAPES - 2015) at Ulster University at NIBEC (Nanotechnology and Integrated Bioengineering Centre). He is currently an adjunct professor II at the Franciscan University and a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Nanosciences, coordinating the research group on applied nanomaterials (GPNAp). He has experience in the area of Green Nanotechnology, with an emphasis on green synthesis of metallic nanoparticles, chemical kinetics and catalysis, working mainly on the following topics: removal of organic pollutants in wastewater by Advanced Oxidative Processes (heterogeneous photocatalysis) and by adsorption process, nanoparticles metals and nanocatalysts.

Cláudia Lange da Silva, Universidade Franciscana - UFN

Possui graduação em Física Licenciatura Plena (2004), mestrado (2007) e doutorado em Física (2011) pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria e pós-doutorado pela Università degli studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Modena, Itália (2016). Atualmente é professora adjunta da Universidade Franciscana. Possui experiência na área de Física da Matéria Condensada, atuando principalmente em cálculos de estrutura eletrônica de nanoestruturas.
