A INDETERMINAÇÃO DA VONTADE EM PEDRO DE JOÃO OLIVI
Resumo
Na Quaestio 57, Olivi defende que a vontade é uma potência ativa em que o desempenhodecisório é indeterminado extrinsecamente. Um aspecto fundamental dessa tese está em Olivimostrar que a liberdade da vontade é intrínseca à condição humana. Extrai-se disso que aantropologia de Olivi depende de modo essencial dessa concepção de vontade. Neste artigo,pretende-se explicar a tese de que a liberdade da vontade é um affectus que compõe a nossaexperiência subjetiva na tomada de decisões; no segundo momento, como ponto central,passa-se à análise da indeterminação da vontade como condição para sua autodeterminação e,enfim, como decorrência da tese anterior, a explicitação da primazia da vontade sobre ointelecto.Referências
