https://periodicos.ufn.edu.br/index.php/disciplinarumCH/article/view/4935

In this text, with a qualitative and descriptive approach, the aim is to present a study on literary literacy and about the importance of literature in the readers’ formation. This is a bibliographic research conducted for the theoretical foundation of the first author’s master’s dissertation. Organized into two main sections, initially, the text encompasses conceptualizations and aspects related to literature and literary reading. In the second section, literary literacy is contextualized, linked to human formation, and the aesthetic experience is examined, seen as an essential source for fostering a taste for reading and shaping the literary reader. It is concluded that the critical formation of the reader emerges from the space given to literary reading in the school context, in a movement of sensitization, contemplation, and reflection on literary works.
Cadia Mara Dorneles CarusNoemi BoerAdriana Claudia Martins

https://periodicos.ufn.edu.br/index.php/disciplinarumCH/article/view/5148

This study aims to analyze and discuss the characteristics of students with disabilities who enrolled in undergraduate programs at a Federal University in Santa Catarina from 2014 to 2024, linking these characteristics to policies on reserved seats, with the goal of understanding how such policies have influenced the profile of incoming students at the institution. The data were obtained from an open data spreadsheet available on the university’s website for the specified period and organized into electronic spreadsheets. An exploratory data analysis was then conducted, applying descriptive statistical tests of frequency, mean, median, and percentage. The results indicate a progressive increase in the number of students with disabilities since 2014, attributed to the expanded guarantees of access through reserved seats, allowing students with various disability conditions to enter and broadening the diversity of the undergraduate student body. Additionally, the study highlighted the need and importance of implementing accessibility policies and actions, underscoring the significance of an inclusive approach focused on the retention and quality education of these students.
Jeovana Diomar Pinheiro Januário

https://periodicos.ufn.edu.br/index.php/disciplinarumCH/article/view/5348

Environmental education emerged as a response to growing concerns about the impacts of anthropogenic activities on the environment. This study presents a bibliometric review of scientific production in the field, based on the Web of Science online platform. The research followed the bibliometric methodology, allowing for the analysis of quantitative indicators of academic literature. The search was conducted on March 30, 2025, using the terms “Environmental education” AND “Sustainability Education” OR “Environmental Literacy,” resulting in 837 publications from 1971 to 2025. Aspects such as year of publication, document type, most cited authors, countries of publication, number of citations, keywords, and journals were analyzed. The data were organized into tables and charts using Google Sheets, and the network analysis was carried out with the VOSviewer software. The results indicate a significant increase in publications starting in 2009, with a peak in 2024, reflecting the growing relevance of the topic in the global academic landscape. The United States leads in the number of publications, followed by Australia and China, while Brazil shows a smaller contribution, ranking twentieth. The keyword analysis revealed the centrality of the terms “environmental education” and “environmental literacy,” demonstrating the interconnection between education and sustainability, along with other related terms. It is concluded that research in environmental education has been consolidating both nationally and internationally.
Caroline MoroLucian Armindo da Silva BrincoMauro Kumpfer Werlang
